her poetry is deeply rooted in her experience of being part of academic, activist, artistic and advocacy collectives, which include, among others, the International Meeting of Poets & Oficina de Poesia (Coimbra, Portugal), the Poetics Program at SUNY Buffalo & blue garrote collective (Buffalo, NY, USA), ANARKITEKTURA (Coimbra, Portugal), RESPEITO & MIGRANTES UNIDOS (London, UK)

she writes in both English and Portuguese, often blending the two languages

her poetry ranges from traditional page-based works to visual, collage, experimental video and sound poetry

her poetry explores themes such as displacement, memory, and multispecies dialogues

 she is also a poetry translator

in London since 2012, she works in the neurodivergence field
