this series

blends my interest in isometric drawing, 

M.C. Escher's mind-bending architectural structures, 

and stream-of-consciousness art

 each freehand drawing has no pinpointed beginning 

but rather emerges from the process of choosing 

two or three main colors

and then allowing 

the drawing to unfold organically 

 as long as this process continues to create quasi-whimsical, contained, complex, and intriguing structures, 

o c e a n m e m o r y will continue to 

expand 

it is like the unveiling of an unknown world that coexists in silence 

but is only occasionally noticed
